PROTEST OF REALITY Beauty in Apathy RELEASED JULY 18, 2003 Beauty in Apathy is the debut album from Kevin Rancik's side project Protest of Reality. The music itself is in a completely different realm than that of the "traditional" Kevin Rancik albums and is comprised of elements stemming mostly from hard rock and electronic music and is influenced by numerous other genres as well. All in all, the album could aptly be labeled as instrumental industrial rock. Although to this point Protest of Reality has been somewhat hidden from view so to speak, the reactions people have to it are sometimes even stronger than those they have to Rancik's classical albums.
